White dextrins are used as: 1. a crispness enhancer for food processing, in food batters, coatings, and glazes, (INS number 1400) 2. a textile finishing and coating agent to increase weight and stiffness of textile fabrics 3. a thickening and binding agent in pharmaceuticals and paper coatings 4. a pyrotechnic binder and fuel; this is added to fireworks and sparklers, allowing them to solidify as pellets or "stars" 5. a stabilizing agent for certain explosive metal azides, particularly Lead(II) azide

HM-White Dextrin

The product is produced by chemical modification with raw material of corn starch, cassava starch or potato starch. It’s one kind of white or yellowish shade powder that has a certain solubility in cold water. As its degree of conversion increases, its viscosity decreases gradually which make it has a very wild range of viscosity.

Performance and Advantages

1. Produced with dry method, the solubility is improved.

2. Moderate dextrinization and viscosity.

3. Strong adhesion, quick bonding and fast drying.

Application

It is widely applied as adhesive for paper, casting, wallpaper, labels, stamps, adhesive tape paper and so on. The adhesive of labels and stamp needs strong adhesion and tenacious film, white dextrin is a suitable choice. And it can be used as printing paste in textile printing and dyeing
