HM-633 Cationic Starch

Application:

Suitable for various kinds of papers as a wet end additive. It can achieve an ideal effect by using the proper degree of substitution, adjusting the dosage and added position.

Performance and Advantages:

1. Improve the papers’ properties: obviously enhance the physical strength such as tensile strength, break resistance, folding resistance, ring pressure strength and so on. Upgrade the papers’ qualities while reduce the wood pulp ratio

2. Great effect on retention and filtration: it can improve fine retention, increase paper weight, and reduce pulp consumption

3. Decrease the white-water concentration, improve the paper machine run-ability, save energy, and reduce the wet end broken;

4.Improve the sizing effect, save sizing agent, and can be used as auxiliary for neutral sizing agent.

Usage:

① Batch cooking: Add a certain amount of water into the gelatinizing tank, boot the stirrer and next add an appropriate amount of HM-633, control the slurry concentration at 5%. Stir the slurry evenly, after that, heat up to 95℃ slowly by keeping the heat-up rate at 2℃ to 3℃ per minute. Keep 95℃ for 10 minutes after the starch gelatinizes completely, finally pump it into the storage pool to prepare the required concentration with water.

② Jet cooking: cooking temperature is 105-125℃, cooking concentration ≤10%, use concentration ≤2.5%.
